Lizzy's Promenade

I played hair stylist, manicurist, beautician, and florist for my sister.
She was a little nervous waiting for Yi-Cong to pick her up...so she played the piano.
They made a cute pair and he was a gentleman.
She continues to outgrow me in height, but never in love.

Dave's Dumpster Dive

My father dug this wheelbarrow out of the dumpster to use for transporting our firewood.
I decided to have some fun and spruce it up.
My mother loves watching the wildlife in our backyard.
So I figured since this wheelbarrow would be spending some time in our backyard
why not put some of that wildlife on it.
(I have to finishing sanding the wood and putting on a sealant top coat.)

Just beet it

Apples, carrots, and beets baby!
Never a better way for trying beets.

Stop, slow, and go

While I was spring cleaning, I found this old  poster from my spray painting kick.

Water water, everywhere.

Appleton and the surrounding area has an ample supply of fire hydrants.
I went on a hydrant hunt...
With my eyes peeled, I rolled down streets looking for my little water buddies.
With a little creative, quick-footed (and surely illegal) parking,
I  jumped out of my car and ran to each hydrant like it was a hot cross bun.
I snapped a photo like a sneak, dashed back to my car, and drove on. It was invigorating.
A hutch of hydrants; each its own unique little self. Enjoy!

True Juice

More photos of juice, why?!?!
Because I can. Because it's good.
Because it was our first time using a legit juicer
and it's a beautiful thing!

A Children's Play

The play was called--Who Can Fix The Dragon's Wagon?
My brother had the most important part in my book...because he is my brother.
So the play for me might have well been called--That-a-boy, Chris.
Every actor did a fine job.
